Purpose

The purpose of the session was to

• Provide an update on Electromagnetic Transient (EMT) Modelling Requirement Initiative
  

Session Objective

• Create awareness of the need and drivers for the EMT modelling initiative
• Inform the industry and seek feedback on the upcoming EMT modelling requirement to power system elements including inverter-based resources (IBRs) and implementation plan
• Notify and seek comments on the amendments to the list of electrical and physical parameters (ID #2010-001R) related to EMT requirements per ISO Rule 502.15
